We, at Applied Thermal Technologies, Inc. are deeply saddened by the tragic passing of our dear friend and coworker, Lucy Saavedra. Lucy was an inspirational individual who positively influenced the lives of many who were fortunate enough to know her. Words cannot adequately express our gratitude for the opportunity to get to know Lucy over the past years. Lucy is survived by two beautiful daughters Jacky and Melody whom are currently in the custody of her sister, Christina. Jacky is 15 years of age, and Melody is 9. As her friends; we knew of Lucy’s desire for her daughters to one day graduate from the college of their choice. Applied Thermal has opened a college savings account for the explicit purpose of helping Jacky and Melody fulfill their mother’s dream. Contributions from our employees were matched by the company and we are seeking contributions from our friends, neighbors, and business partners.
